The Company was established in the UK in 1984 as Matan & Partners Ltd by

Dr. Emmanuel Matan as multi-disciplined Engineering/ Environmental/ 

Management Consultants, with its Head office at the World famous Royal Liver Building in Liverpool.

 The Senior Staff have been involved in several multi-million pounds projects in the United Kingdom and Overseas, and multi-million dollars World bank funded projects in the Developing Countries.

The Consulting Division of Matan International Group operates as MIG Consulting. Our range of services is as detailed under the 'Scope of Services' The company is based on a dynamic structure and can therefore respond very Quickly to our Clients' changing requirements. We are highly technical and focused but very friendly, and our Clients and Partners enjoy working with us. Our main objective is to satisfy our Clients by providing a fast, efficient and reliable service at a reasonable fee. This philosophy, together with our innovations and inventiveness, has been responsible for our technical success and achievements. 

 

 

The company is highly technical and innovative. In 1987, the company was featured on a television programme and won a prize for our pioneering work on the utilisation of landfill Methane gas from Liverpool International Garden Festival site to generate 1000 kW electricity. This was the first commercial landfill gas electricity power generation scheme in the United Kingdom, and was funded by the U.K. government. The scheme was mainly responsible for promoting landfill gas electricity power generation as a viable form of renewable energy. The company is one of the leading experts on landfill gas technology, and in the environmental field in general. The company provides comprehensive services in all aspects of investigation & development of derelict / contaminated land/ brown field sites, and it pioneered many of the techniques and processes which are now widely used in the development of contaminated landfill sites.
